About Voyage Makers Coastal Adventures
Voyage Makers Coastal Adventures is a British Columbia boating school and coastal experience company based at The Marina at Brentwood Bay Resort on Vancouver Island. We help new boaters, returning skippers, boat owners and coastal travellers build confidence through practical boating education, skipper development and curated experiences across the British Columbia coast.
What makes us different
The coast changes when you understand it from the water. Helps people move beyond courses and sightseeing and into real connection — with the tides, the weather, the small harbours, the food, the people and the sense of place that makes British Columbia unforgettable.
Most boating schools teach people how to operate a boat. Voyage Makers goes further. We help people understand the coast they are moving through and real-world coastal judgment. Our work includes boating courses, private training, coastal navigation, docking and close-quarters practice, bareboat charter preparation, Skipper’s Mindset™ programs and Port to Palate™ coastal culinary experiences.
Our goal is not only to make people more capable on the water. It is to help them feel more connected to the place, the journey and the people they share it with.
